Papi Underwear: It’s the Opposite of FUBU

Like a phoenix rising from cum stained underwear ashes, Papi has finally relaunched their website and a new ad campaign - something they were aiming to do over a year and a half ago. They appear to be tying desperately to reposition themselves as an upscale brand (by stating over and over again that they’re a luxury brand) and less of a niche player aimed at Latino men. So that solves their problem with the limited reach of the brand - but it also defeats the purpose of Papi even existing. Wasn’t it supposed to celebrate the Latino community? And how are you a “papi” if you’re not Latino?
