Oh, the fun times ahead
The files I was hosting on Mediafire were a total violation of their terms of service. I knew that and they knew that - I was just hoping they wouldn’t ever notice. So since they removed everything and my hosting company hasn’t upgraded my server yet, all files over 20 megabytes are being moved over to Rapidshare. It would absolutely kill my bandwidth to host the more popular files myself, and then the whole website gets shut down until I pay more. So there’s no real point in that.
As for the Yahoo! Group, it just became redundant waste of time. That was only started to host files and it couldn’t even do that properly. Most of the Rapidshare links were expired and I wasn’t going go through each of the files and fix them. So I just deleted the whole thing. Now comes the process of moving over all the really old files… FUN.
