Zack Vasquez from Men Magazine

Zack Vasquez is Hispanic (of some sort) and has been modeling (to various degrees) for a while now. But the powers at Men have decided that he’ll be white for their October issue. They’ve rebranded him as “Zack Johnathan” for his layout in the magazine. The motive behind it is blatantly…racist. With light skin and blue eyes, they could hardly pass up the opportunity. Did the editors of Men have some sort of malicious intent or are their readers just big hicks? Because I could hardly see anyone having a problem with an ass like that- whether Spanish, German, or Pygmy.

Editor’s Note: A reader (I have readers?) let me know that the name change was done for previous modeling and it was probably Zack’s own decision. But I do still think it was done to make his ethnicity more ambiguous. And there was no way I was going to pass on ripping someone…
